We have v3 and v4 of the same guide indexed. The generative answer keeps quoting v3 even though v4 is newer. How do I make it prefer the current version?

Generated answers ground on whatever the retrieval step returns, so fix it at retrieval. Either stop indexing the old version (filter v3 out of the source), or add a ranking rule that boosts the current version field. Once v4 ranks first, the answer cites it.
